You have the option to connect one dish to multiple STBs right now. 

However, you can connect one STB with one TV only; STBs cannot be connected to multiple TVs.

When a registered subscriber purchases any new AKASH Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) from authorized Dealer, s/he will automatically receive a repair and replacement warranty for the 1st year from the date of activation of AKASH services. Registered subscriber will further get maintenance services for the 2nd year in relation to CPE from the date of activation of AKASH. However, registered subscriber would be responsible to pay for any equipment or accessories and any other charges outside the scope of maintenance. For the sake of clarity, CPE shall mean components and accessories to enable reception of AKASH services, which shall include dish antenna; low noise block feed horn and Set Top Box.

A person can buy a maximum of 3 products with a single registered mobile number (RMN).

You'll have to bring only 1 passport size color photograph & original or photocopy of your NID or Passport.

After purchase, within 72 hours our professional AKASH installers will come to your installation address to complete installation so that you can start enjoying the magical AKASH experience. It takes 2 hours on average to complete the installation.

The dish should be installed where there is the clearest line of sight; usually, it is on the rooftop/parapet of terrace.

You should manage the consent of your landlord/apartment committee for the dish installation and cable routing at the premise before the purchase.

Our professional AKASH installers will be there for you, at the time mutually agreed between you and us, to do reinstallations, relocations, commissioning, decommissioning, component replacements, servicing etc. if needed. The AKASH Lite Package costs only BDT 249 Monthly! You'll get 70 of your favorite channels including 20 true HD Channels!

If you buy a new AKASH connection with AKASH Lite Package, you'll get 5 day free subscription completely free! However, if you are an existing AKASH Subscriber & you adopt or migrate to AKASH Lite Package, you'll not get additional free subscription days.

You can down-grade to AKASH Lite after your subscription validity has expired. Please call our call center for this operation; you can call anytime, our agents will schedule a future downgradation request on behalf of you in the system at the time of your validity expiry of AKASH Standard for your convenience.

Please call our call center at 16442 for this operation. Our agents will first stop your current billing cycle & then your unutulized balance will be refunded. Then your migration request will be executed immidiately.

Therefore, customer needs to recharge BDT 399 - 125 = 274 to upgrade to AKASH Standard , starting from this 15th day for the next 30 days.

No, existing AKASH Subscribers, migrating to packages will not get any additional free subscription period.

You can immediately upgrade your packages. You don't need to wait for your billing cycle to be over. Your unused wallet balance can be used for the subscription of higher package; Don't worry, you will not lose any unused balance.

You can choose AKASH Lite at the time of new connection purchase. Just inform your retailer about your choice.

You can add any add on packs to your AKASH Lite package at any point of time. Please call our call center at 16442 as the add on pack addition/dropping procedure will be executed through call center.

Ofcourse you can add the add ons. But you will need to pay for the add ons accordingly even if you have free period for your AKASH Lite.

No, you will not get any free subscription period when you add your add on packs.

No. Add on packs can only be enjoyed with the valid subscription of Lite package. If your Lite package expires, your add on packs will stop as well even if you have validity for those.

Add on packs will be automatically renewed upon availability of balance in your account, after the validity expires. You can only stop add ons by calling our call center; otherwise, auto renewal will continue.

You can drop add ons after the validity of your add on pack has ended. If you want to drop add on packs before its validity has expired, no refund will be given to your wallet. Please call our call center at 16442 as the add on pack addition/dropping procedure will be executed through call center.

You can add different add ons at different times to your AKASH Lite pack. You have the freedom & you can choose whichever add on you would like according to your preference anytime! We have all the options for you at reasonable prices! However, if you feel adding multiple add ons is less economical for you, you can always upgrade from AKASH Lite to AKASH Standard package, anytime! Just call our call center 16442 to upgrade your package!

There are 20 of your favorite entertainment & movie channels including 8 HD channels in this add on pack costing only BDT 75 monthly!

No. There's no discount on add on packs with or without multi tv connection facility.

If you opt for multi TV connections, your higher costing base package between AKASH STANDARD & AKASH Lite PACKAGE will come first in the hierarchy. In this method, your package hierarchy will be decided & you will get discount for your 2nd & 3rd connection. For 2nd connection, AKASH STANDARD & AKASH Lite PACK will cost BDT 300 & BDT 200 respectively & for 3rd connection AKASH STANDARD & AKASH Lite PACK will cost BDT 200 & BDT 200 respectively. For instance, if you have 1 Standard package & 2 Lite packages, your total monthly subscription fee will be BDT 399 + BDT 200 + BDT 200 = BDT 799. You will not get any discount on your add on pack. And before merging to multi tv if you had any add on packs, those will be lost when you merge to multi tv, you will not get any refund for remaining validity for your add ons.

Yes, for every subscriber ID you'll need to register separately, even if the mobile number is same for the accounts.

To register, please click on the 'Sign In' button on top right corner of the AKASH website. Click the 'Sign Up to Log in' Button in the new window. After that type your 'Subscriber ID' and 'Registered Mobile Number' and check the tick box confirming agreement terms , then click on the 'Submit' button. Now type the OTP (One Time Password) which was sent to your 'Registered Mobile Number' and Set your password and confirm it. Click the 'Register' button after finishing. A message will appear confirming successful registration. You'll now be able to sign in by providing your Sub ID and Password.

You'll only need your subscriber ID and RMN to register in Self care

If it shows that the mobile number does not match, please call our call center at 16442 to update your mobile number.

When setting up a password for Selfcare, your password must be between 8 - 30 characters containing a capital letter, a small letter and a number. You also can not set your previous Selfcare password as your new password.

Even if you have Multi-TV connection, you only have one ?Subscriber ID?. If you register with that Subscriber ID, you?ll find information regarding all your connections.
